Did you know that pediatric oral disease is the #1 chronic childhood illness? Shocking, isn't it?
For that reason alone, we as a family, will be participating in the Listerine Oral Care Challenge.
What is the Listerine Oral Care Challenge?
To encourage good dental hygiene for the little ones, the makers of LISTERINE® and REACH® have created an "Oral Care Challenge" for parents and kids (ages 6 and older) to take on this year. To complete the challenge, kids, alongside their parents, have to brush, floss and rinse every day, twice a day for two weeks-a key step in building a strong oral care foundation.
We ALWAYS hear during our regular dental checkups the importance of regular brushing and flossing to maintain a healthy oral care routine. Did you also know that brushing alone misses the germs in 75% of your mouth! {yuck}. Just by adding a therapeutic mouthwash to your daily routine of brushing and flossing is an essential step in keeping your mouth healthy and protected.
Currently, we as a family, do indeed brush two times per day, but unfortunately, we aren't flossing regularly, nor are we using a mouthwash. Yikes.
So, over the next few weeks, we will be starting and participating in the challenge and I will share our family's progress. We will each follow a routine of brushing, flossing, and rinsing twice a day for 3 weeks — as a family!
We are thrilled to participate in the challenge (the kids are excited for their new toothbrushes)! Wanna follow along and participate too, visit Listerine to find out more!
Disclosure: “I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Listerine and received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.”
