We've been Just Dance loyal fans since it's inception. Our household was anxiously awaiting the release of Just Dance 4. Since it's arrival to our home, we've been playing it non-stop. It's truly addictive! The game play itself is a lot of fun and quite entertaining. As the dance moves require you get up and move... you will definitely break a sweat.

There are many current hits that if you are a Top 40 fan like me, you will recognize and enjoy. Although some of the dance moves were a little advanced for our kids, all of us had a great time laughing and dancing along.

The noticeable new feature to this series is the addition of a Battle Mode, allowing players to compete in a six-round dance off. In addition there is the ability to unlock alternate choreography for some of the songs. My kids loved to challenge each other in the Battle Mode. 

The Sweat Mode has also been improved with the expansion of the mode itself. It allows players to get a pretty tough workout based on the choice of music selected. This mode also features an on-screen calorie counter to monitor if you are working hard enough (or just moving your remote fast or slow). Workout can be as short as 10 minutes to an intense 45 minutes session. This mode is fun and my favorite of all the different options. 

The only issue that I noticed with this {Wii} game in particular was that some of the arm movements aren't recognized as well with the Wii remote. The dance moves are pretty easy and are typically repeated throughout the entire song which makes it easy to dance and pick up.

Final Thoughts: Overall, Just Dance 4 surpassed my expectations. The game is certainly entertaining and fun for the whole family. Now go out and get it.... you will not be disappointed! Lots of dancing FUN!

What I believe to be new for the Just Dance series, is a medal and point system which helps unlock new songs and extra content. There are goals such as "Finish a Song with No X's" as well as "Gain 300 Sweat Points". With enough dancing, you can earn enough {mojo} points to unlock extra content such as a new song, dance mash up or new modes.

As our family is a huge fan of all of the Just Dance games/series, we were excited to try out the newest addition to the collection. I was a huge fan of ABBA growing up (and still am), so when I saw this game, I thought I HAVE to have it right away!


This game makes the perfect theme for a fun friends' night in. It super fun and highly entertaining. What we like about this game, not only could it serve as a fun night with friends, but also the perfect game for a family night in too! 


To get started, all you need to do is insert the game in the Wii console and you are ready to go. We wanted the full ABBA experience, so we turned it up a notch and played it via surround sound. We were so glad we did because the songs sounded fantastic!


The ABBA songs certainly brought back lots of childhood memories of singing along to these super catchy tunes. The moves are easy to follow and you can even benefit from a little exercise while dance, dance.... dancing! I am the Dancing Queen... lol.


In comparison to other Just Dance games in the series, this has to be, by far, my absolute favorite. In addition to the dance part of the game, there is also the option of karaoke. Now who doesn't LOVE  a little karaoke, especially when singing along to ABBA songs.


Final Thoughts: Overall, the game was super entertaining, family friendly and a great time. If you are fan of the Just Dance series, this will make a great addition to your collection. Now, if your adore ABBA as much as I do, you will, without a doubt, find great enjoyment in this game!

My kids have been huge fans of the Alvin and the Chipmunk movie series. So when they saw a commercial for newest movie in the series, Alvin and the Chipmunk: Chipwrecked, they wanted to go to the theater and see it immediately. Ahhh, the power of advertising! Although secretly, I have to say that I am as excited as them to see it. Since the movie isn't quite out yet, we have Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked for the Wii to help entertain us in the meantime!

Player have the option of choosing which character they would like to be from any of the Chipmunks or Chipettes. They can then perform from fifty different dance moves by following the the moves on the screen. You score more points the closer you are to the move and beats you see and hear. A "Munk Power" meter increases your score when it's filled. Based upon your superb dancing skills, you can earn different types of trophies to put in display.

There is an option to play the game alone or with more than one player. There is also the ability to battle it out in the Co-Op mode and each character can be customized in a selection of super cute attire. 

Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked is fun and entertaining for the whole family. Along with kids, we have been thoroughly enjoying ourselves, singing and dancing along with our favorite Chipmunks and Chippettes. It's a great interactive game and I know that it will get a lot of use this winter season! This would make a fantastic stocking stuffer for that gamer in your life! Now... c'mon... go and get your Chipmunk groove on....
