*Featuring* by Norah Jones Review

Norah Jones's fifth album, Featuring, releasing November 16th, is a star-studded collection of Norah Jones' collaborations spanning her entire career.  The result serves as a kind of parallel history to her four albums, which have sold over 40 million copies worldwide.

The 18 songs on the album include cool cameos, collaborations and duets with such legends as Ray Charles, Willie Nelson, and Dolly Parton, and with 21st Century icons from OutKast to the Foo Fighters.

“A lot of the people on this record are people I've worshiped since I was a kid, and some of them are younger and more my contemporaries,” says Norah. “Even though the musicians are so varied, the vibe of the songs makes sense when we put them all together.”

My Thought on Norah Jones' new album Featuring... WOW... it's an absolute killer album. She definitely nailed it with this collaboration. Her soulful renditions are quietly calming and the perfect addition to my collection. Keep 'em coming Norah! A definite two-thumbs up.

Tiger Suit by KT Tunstall Review

Remember... Black Horse and the Cherry Tree or Suddenly I See... two amazingly catchy tunes by KT Tunstall? Well she's back... and stronger than ever!

KT Tunstall's third album, Tiger Suit, released on October 5th, heralds the beginning of a new musical adventure for the multi-platinum, Scottish-born singer and songwriter. Track list includes:

Tiger Suit has a more mature sound but still reflects the rich and soulful voice we know and love. Overall the album is a creative and exceptional and seems to get better and better with each listen. KT's album is available in stores and on Amazon HERE.
