Gorton's Seafood Products {Review & Giveaway} * Three Winners!

Me + Seafood haven't always been one. Quite honestly, the only {seafood} that I could eat on a regular basis was fish and chips. As long as I can remember, my mom always bought Gorton's fish sticks or fillets. My own grocery shopping outings usually exclude the frozen seafood section until recently. The generous folks at Gorton's sent me over some coupons to give a few of their other seafood products a try and boy, I am sure glad that the did!

As I am still a fan of the Gorton's Fish Fillets, I wanted to give the Crispy Battered Fillets a shot to see if they were as tasty as I remember. Straight out of the package, they were shaped just like they were when my mom would buy them. What I noticed first was that they were larger in size than in the past. Once they were cooked and ready to serve, they were quite flavorful, crispy and very tasty. The kids absolutely liked loved them! I was happy they were sold in a bag of ten, as this was the perfect size for our family.

Gorton's Shrimp Scampi was super quick and simple to prepare and serve to my family. Directly from the box you place the shrimp into a large skillet. As the Shrimp Scampi warms in the skillet, the sauce forms and it's ready to serve in just about ten minutes. My husband LOVED the flavor of this dish. The size of each shrimp was pretty generous and this one box could easily feed two or three people.

My family and I cannot wait to try one of the many other Gorton's seafood products. Such a large variety to choose from.... what shall we try next.... hmmmm? Suggestions anyone?
