The VeraTemp Non-Contact Thermometer is absolute genius! It provides the ability to take your child's temperature without even touching them, waking them up or bothering them at all. As they say, you don't want to wake "the sleeping bear". A sick child is like the sleeping bear and it's best to leave them alone. Not having to wake them up is what I truly LOVE about this product.

The thermometer itself is light weight and easy to use. The thermometer measures a person's temperature based on the amount of energy they radiate. Genius, right?!?

To operate the thermometer, all you need to do is hold it about 2-3 inches fro the forehead, push the scan button and wah-lah... temperature reading right on the screen. In addition to giving you a temperature reading, the screen also generates a color code system based on temperature: green for normal, orange for a moderate temperature and red for ab excessively high temperature. It's was super helpful in the middle of the night!

This thermometer also has an auto-off feature, which is another wonderful added benefit!
