The scale is very simple to use.  Insert the two AAA batteries, which are included (yea!)  and turn it on.  Easy, right? You can then choose which type of measurement you would like to use (ex: g, k, oz, lb). You also have the option to tare an item (as I did above with the bowl). Add the bowl as you would normally weigh an item, then press the tare button and wah-lah... it resets the weight to zero. Add the item you would like to weigh and get your measurement results. The screen is very easy to read and it's simple to clean. It's sleek design fits into any kitchen decor and it's slim size takes up minimal room on your countertop.
