Lawry's "Complete Meal Ideas" Review and Giveaway

 Thanks to Lawry's and My Blog Spark, we enjoyed a Complete Meal Ideas gift pack including all four of the new Lawry´s seasoning mix varieties - Asian Style Beef and Broccoli, Chimichurri Burrito Casserole, Mediterranean Sundried Tomato and Garlic Chicken, and Tuscan Style Chicken Marsala with Garlic and Basil - in addition to a Pyrex marinating dish.

As a busy mom, I am ALWAYS looking for quick ideas to serve great tasting meals to some picky eaters. With Lawry's four new seasoning mixes, it's easy to find the answer to "What's for dinner, mom?"

Each package is an exciting meal idea that quickly turns ordinary chicken, beef or pasta into a delicious meal the entire family will love.

The new varieties include:

Asian Style Beef & Broccoli - This easy to prepare stir fry meal will remind your family of their favorite Asian restaurant. The dish combines beef, broccoli and seasonings with a hint of garlic. Serve it over rice for a complete, satisfying meal.

Chimichurri Burrito Casserole - Lawry´s gives the Burrito casserole a new twist with this traditional Latin American sauce. With a few simple fresh ingredients, mealtime just got a lot more exciting.

Mediterranean Sundried Tomato & Garlic Chicken - Add a taste of the Mediterranean to your family´s casserole. This easy to bake casserole combines chicken, pasta, tomatoes and Feta cheese for a flavorful meal any night of the week.

Tuscan Style Chicken Marsala with Garlic & Basil -This effortless version of a restaurant favorite comes together on your stovetop with just a few fresh ingredients. Flavorful garlic and basil gives this meal its own Tuscan flair, perfect for serving over pasta or rice.

Now, if you have used any of Lawry's product in the past (our personal favorite... their Season Salt), you know that these seasoning add the perfect flavor to your dish.

So, what's my opinion?

First up PROS: 

1) Large Pyrex marinating dish 10 x 15 - AWESOME. Snap tight lid, perfect for marinating and/or for transport.

2) Seasoning variety - fabulous. Big enough selection to satisfy my picky crew.

3) Mixes themselves - easy to use. Made with natural spices, 0 Trans Fat per serving and my favorite, NO MSG.

4) Kids surprisingly LOVED the Asian Style Beef & Broccoli and Chimichurri Burrito Casserole - SCORE! The Chimichurri Burrito Casserole was a nice change from our traditional *mexican* meal of choice, tacos. (another option, hurray!)

5) Kids asked when I could make the Tuscan Style Chicken Marsala again? (what, why haven't I tried these before... oh that's right, they're new... thank you Lawry's!)
6) Dinner prep was quick and easy (my personal fav...).

Now, for the CONS (well, just CON):

1) If you don't have some the ingredients on hand, you might need to take an extra trip to the grocery store... or as I like to do... call the hubby with my list...
