5 ways to create personalized holiday cards with PurpleTrail

If you have the time, patience and a crafty flair, this is a fun way to get into the holiday spirit. Your local craft stores have all the embellishments to make your holiday cards extra spectacular! glitter... glitter... everywhere!

2. include a personal newsletter about your family in your Christmas cards.

Did Tommy make the soccer team this year and placed first at season's end or did Ella start her first day of school? By including an update of your family's accomplishments is a quick and easy way to add some personalization to your holiday cards.  You can add some extra flair to your newsletter by adding a few photos, some festive fonts and printing it on some fun holiday paper. 

3.  to personalize Christmas cards for close family, have your children draw pictures to include.

Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Sally or Uncle Joe will surely appreciate a holiday card from your family when your child's charming and adorable picture arrives along with it. Have your child draw something very simple... a Candy Cane, Christmas Tree, Ornament or just the words *i love you* will surely put a heartfelt smile on their faces. 4. purchase custom, personalized greeting cards to send out for the holiday.

5.  include a family picture, or just one of the kids, to personalize holiday cards.

It's Beginning To Look A lot Like a *Shutterfly* Christmas...

 

 

Over the past several years, I've tried out many different online photo publishing services. Time and time again, I've ALWAYS come back to Shutterfly to print ALL of my photo needs. Whether it's been birth announcements or photobooks, I've had nothing but great success with Shutterfly's quick and efficient service.

 

The things I love most about Shutterfly (in addition to the super fabulous discounts they offer) is the convenience and ease of use. The Shutterfly site is much easier to upload and organize your photos then other sites I have tried. They offer a variety of projects to fit all your photo expressive needs.

 

So call me crazy (don't hate me for already planning Christmas stuff, but I can't help myself... I {heart} Christmas), but I've already perused through the amazing selection of Christmas Cards and have chosen my absolute favorite (take a peek below.... cute, right?)! Now, the challenge begins of selecting my favorite kids' photos to use in it. Choices, choices.... I love that I get to select four photos... one spot for each kid and one for the family shot! PERFECT!

Remember... Black Horse and the Cherry Tree or Suddenly I See... two amazingly catchy tunes by KT Tunstall? Well she's back... and stronger than ever!

 The Halloween decor is up... so the countdown has begun... tick tock, tick tock... 

I've been thinking about what to hand out to trick-or-treaters this year.... and what I want to know is... what will you and your family be handing out this year for your Halloween treats? Here's their unique story!

There were more babies born then ever before.

The Storks had to deliver them from shore to shore.

Some storks turned east when they should have turned west.

Everything went wrong even thought they were trying their best.

Then it began to happen in a flash!

One by one they started to crash!

Every stork crashed and tumbled.

Suddenly all the baby animals were jumbled!

The storks could not believe their eyes!

These jumbled babies were quite a surprise!
