With Father's Day just around the corner, it was the perfect opportunity to check out these super cute Love n' Smiles For Dad Cookies Gift Basket by SmileyCookie.com.

About SmileyCookie.com

It started as a half-baked idea more than 20 years ago — a smiley cookie as the vehicle to communicate the ethos of a restaurant — Eat’n Park, the Place for Smiles. Soon our cookie became not just the signifier of a delightful family dining experience, but a symbol of commitment to community and charitable giving, indeed, the mascot of the company.

And now, SmileyCookie.com has gotten even bigger with their online cookie delivery company — fresh-baked, hand-iced Smiley Cookies delivered all over the country — fast and fresh. Smiles for miles each and every day!

You can even order customized cookies to match wedding colors, sport teams, corporate logos and more, and have your cookies delivered fresh nearly anywhere to as many addresses as you choose! And with our smart cookie pricing, you don’t need to spend a lot of dough! Did we say, “SWEET”?

{The Love n' Smiles For Dad Cookies Gift Basket
arrived perfectly in this securely wrapped gift basket}

*The Daddy aka Big D* of ace and friends thoughts: Big *D* thought the cookies were crunchy and not too sweet. He thought they were super delicious and insisted that we bring them along with us on vacation to share with our family. Bottom line, he wanted to eat another after he finished off the first one. I have to say it was two thumbs up from Big *D*. Also two definite thumbs up from the kids. They LOVED them... each and every bite! What I liked about these cookies is that they are produced in a factory that does NOT have tree nuts and peanuts in their facility. A definite two thumbs up from me because my youngest has a peanut allergy and she can enjoy these delightful cookies along with her siblings! YES, finally.

As an iPhone addict, I love to discover new and exciting apps. First, because they are enjoyable and second, because it keeps the kids entertained. I love kid-friendly apps that can keep the kids occupied is sticky situations... think... getting bored while shopping, waiting for an appointment or waiting for the rest of the family to finish eating at a restaurant. If you are a parent, you know you've been there! There have been many times that my iPhone and it's apps have SAVED me from a crying fit.

Recently I was introduced to Cube Dog. Cube Dog, you ask... what exactly is that?

A little more about Cube Dog

The app includes amazing features like fetching a bone, playing baseball and calling you. Yep, that's right, calling you. You have to see it to believe it! In addition to those fun tricks, you also have the ability to photograph your dog on-location using your iPhone camera. It's so much fun. What's great is that overall, you have more than 40 special tricks to choose from.

Check out the video below for a little introduction...

After installing the Cube Dog app, it was super simple to use. You can completely personalize your Cube Dog to your liking, meaning you can create your pet by choosing the eyes, ears, and even the color.... with over 1.3 million possible combinations, your choices are virtually endless. If you can't decide exactly how you want your pet to look, just give your device a shake and the app will create one for you.

My new little friend... Turqie... (can you guess why that's his name?)

Overall it’s a great FREE app and kids and adults alike will enjoy creating and playing with their Cube Dog. As you are limited to what you can do with the FREE portion of the app, some playing with it may become bored after some time playing with it. However, you do have the option of purchasing add-ons for Cube Dog.

From June 6 – 13, Cube Dog is running a promotion on the Cube Dog page. So head over and Like the Cube Dog Page now and learn more about the promotion!

Get started today and download the free Cube Dog app from iTunes to begin creating your virtual 3D dog.

ArtisticLetters Black & White Alphabet Photography {Freebie, Coupon and Review}

While I was in northern Michigan, I came across some alphabet photography that I thought was genius. What I didn't like so much was the ridiculous price point! Fortunate for me, I was introduced to an amazing Alphabet Photography website, where the photography is better and the price is too. Double bonus!

Photographer Jodi Gerber of Artistic Letters has created an entire catalog of black & white letter images throughout the past 3 years – all by taking photos of objects in nature that resembled letters of the alphabet. She recently decided to offer her ENTIRE catalog of 250+ letter images to the public on CD or Download so that anyone could create their own designs!   It’s a truly original way to make artwork for your home - or even for scrapbooking, greeting cards, and digital designs consisting of wedding invitations, graduation announcements, baby’s birth, etc.).  Endless possibilities for whatever the mind can imagine!

ace and friends thoughts

I had a fabulous time looking at every letter. I was thrilled to have so many different options to choose from in the collection. With over 250 images, your creativity is endless. I chose to simply print out my favorite letters to create our family name to display in the office. I simply printed each letter on  4 x 6 photo paper, framed them with some super cheap frames... the finished product is absolutely perfect. I also decided to use the letter on my iPad as the background. Check it out... {love it}

 I can't wait to make some more amazing pieces of art. Next up... an alphabet board for the kids.... it's gonna be SWEET!
